April is Arab American Heritage Month — a time to recognize and celebrate the vibrant Arab American community right here in Northeast Ohio. From Cleveland to Akron and beyond, Arab Americans have enriched our region through their contributions in business, medicine, education, the arts, and civic life. This month, we honor their heritage, celebrate their stories, and acknowledge the important role they play in shaping the diverse fabric of Northeast Ohio. 

In 2025, we are proud to award Lillian Kuri, CEO & President of the Cleveland Foundation with the Arab American of the Year Award; Raymond Bobgan, Executive Artistic Director with the Friend of the Community Award; and La Villa Conference and Banquet Center with the Community Partner Award.
