Mohammad (Mo) Ali
Advisory Board Member

My name is Mohammad Ali (Mo Ali). I’m a first-generation Palestinian American, born and raised in Cleveland, Oh. I attended the University of Akron, where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Supervision. I landed a position at the Cleveland Clinic as a financial counselor, and worked my way up to become the department supervisor of the PAS (Patient Access Services). I’ve always enjoyed helping patients receive the best quality care possible and my goals were to implement processes for my employees to do the same. I’m proud of my accomplishments at the clinic and I can truly say that I’ve learned so much from my time there. I found that my true passion was to transform wedding venues using the latest lighting technology and creating unforgettable experiencesfor my clients. I was inspired by my wife (Dina) who was an accomplished DJ in the entertainment field and felt there was an opportunity for growth. Together we started Lime Lights Entertainment which is a full-service entertainment company specializing in high end weddings and events. We managed to set our entertainment company far above most in the Northeast Ohio area by offering unique services. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My Arab heritage is very unique because it’s a combination of different countries that offers similarities and differences in terms of traditional characteristics and cultural values. My message to the community is that we need to help each other and preserve the ethnic and cultural diversity that nourishes and strengthens our Arab American community. I would like to end with one of my favorite quotes by Mother Teresa; “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today.”
